I apoligize for the late report on Thursday, since I did not do it yesterday I will do Thursday and Friday together, today.
Thursday:
Yesterday in Bible we tried to say our verse but no one could, we still have the rest of the day to study though!! In math we did lesson 93 and that was it. Langauge we did one page, page 176, which was a one page paper on the thirteen original colonies. We had to do a little research in preparation for our big research paper coming up. In reading we read and did a worktext page.
It seems like a pretty boring day huh? You might as well stop reading right now, because we will make you fall asleep. No!!!!!!!!!!! There is still more!
Spelling we did a practice test. History too was a test, but in science we just read. Music was very fun! We watched a video and couldn't stop laughing! Jackson rolled over on the floor laughing so hard he couldn't breathe!!! lol what a fun day!
Friday:
Today in Bible everyone said their memory verse and did great! Math we played around the world with flashcards. The flashcards had improper fractions that we had to change and then we did multiplication facts. Poor Melayna got very fustrated with this game. She got the answers of others questions before they did, but when it came time for her turn she couldn't say the answers quick enough! Congratulations to our winners Jackson and Lauren! We also did problem set 94 in math.
In Langauge we took a quiz and did one page in our books. Reading we somehow didn't do. Science we read and did the comprehension check together. In history we had a map where we had to label the 50 states. Then we had to match the states together with their capitals. We had library today too. I hope everyone got a good book to read! Computers was fun too. My typing skills and everyone else's has improved I know. Well there you go, Thursday and Friday of a typical fifth grade class.
